Coding of the vehicle is required in order to make the kit work error free. Replacement of the light module (FRM) is not required if the vehicle is being coded by the specialist. If the vehicle is being take to the BMW dealership for coding, the new light module (FRM3) must be purchased. We can assist you with finding a specialist in your area. Each kit comes with BMW OEM parts and Plug&Play harness that makes the replacement of the old tail lights a 10 minute job !
